Hi, We’re ReBlue.
The Smart Sharing Box at Seoul National University (SNU) is an upgraded sustainability project led by Environment Team under the 2025 SNU Diversity Council. This initiative revitalizes the traditional "Blue Box" item-sharing system found in dormitories by introducing a digital catalog, QR code interface, and a quality grading system for reusable items such as clothes, shoes, and small electronics.
The project is a fusion of eco-consciousness, tech innovation, and student empowerment, aiming to turn forgotten donations into high-value community assets—accessible, transparent, and respected.
Purposes
The project aims to achieve three interconnected goals:
- Foster Sustainability:
Promote a circular economy on campus by encouraging responsible reuse of still-valuable items.
- Improve Transparency & Quality:
Implement a grading and curation system so students can donate and receive items with clarity and trust.
- Enhance Accessibility Through Technology:
Allow students to browse available items via a QR-linked Notion system, reducing waste and improving visibility of shared resources.
